Cuevas del Drach, immerse yourself in our environment
Located on the east coast of Majorca, specifically in the town of Porto Cristo, these caves are one of the island’s main tourist attractions, and are, without doubt, some of the most remarkable ones on the island, as they have a horizontal extension of about
1,200 metres and a maximum depth of 25 m. below ground level, The caves contain a large underground lake, Lake Martel, 25 m. bajo la superficie. Las cuevas esconden en su interior un gran lago subterráneo, el
Lago Martel, considered one of the largest underground lakes in the world.
Enjoy Porto Cristo!!
Located in the south of Majorca, you can complete your day in the area with many activities.
These caves are amazing, a must see for everyone, the quartet playing on a boat at the base of the caves are awesome.
Definitely dont miss the Caves of Drach!
Absolutely stunning! Great picture taking. Lines go quickly so don't let that stop you. Ending is very lovely. I won't spoil it for you just in case you go. But if you are in Porto Cristo, you certainly shouldn't miss them!
It's a magical place. I have seen a lot of different caves in my life but this is by far the best one I have ever seen. Very well maintained and very clean. This is the only cave that offers a real live concert. The orchestra in the little boat playing beautiful music. It was breathtaking. Oh and remember to sit on the furthest seat downstairs otherwise you'll have a hard time getting on the boat.
Beautiful experience for people able to climb stairs independently. The short boat trip at the end across the cavern's lake after the classical music show was fun. The child screaming through the classical music, not fun. (Still 5 stars as what can they do about children being children eh? I would have probably paid extra to have an adult only experience at a set time though lol!)
